What do you think of Steven Moffat?
I think he’s a wonderful writer, I really do, but he really needs to stop fucking around with his female characters. I don’t think any of his female characters get story-lines they deserve, for example the pregnancy plot with Amy and Irene submitting rather than beating Sherlock. If he could just see that giving a female a gun doesn’t make her a strong character but giving her an actual plot that doesn’t involve a man being the hero does. Season five Amy Pond was what I wanted her to be like in season six, she was a strong independent woman that didn’t take shit from her fiancee or her best friend, and don’t get me started on how much he screwed Irene in the last ten minutes of ASiB. As a person I think he’s a bit of a dick, I say a bit but I really mean a lot of a dick, who really likes to make his fans go insane with his lack of straight answers and riddles (“Never liked riddles” “Learn to”). All in all I think he’s a good writer that needs to learn how to treat a female character
